West Coast Swing 1st & 3rd Thursdays

The last WCS Thursday dance party of 2013 is December 19th. We hope all our SD Westie friends come out to celebrate the holiday season swing dancing. Please donate if you can, a few cans of food for our food drive. 

West Coast Swing 2nd Saturdays

Saturday, December 14th, 8 PM, $8, $4 Full time students (w/ID)

The WCS Dance Party 2nd Saturday, December 14th is the last one for 2013 and a perfect time to come out and dance with SD Westies plus bring along a few non-perishable food items to donate to the SD Food Bank. Host: Brick Robbins, 8 PM Warm up class, 8:30-11 PM WCS open dancing. 

NEWS Holiday Social Dance Party!

Saturday, December 7th, 8 PM, FREE

The Dancetime Holiday Food Drive party on Saturday, December 7th was a great success. We celebrated the holidays with our friends, family and dancing community featured a double deck social dance night with a social dance mix upstairs and West Coast swing downstairs, snacks, refreshments, wine sampling and lots of great music in our festive, decorated ballrooms.

Our bins were filled by the generous outpouring of donations by the San Diego dance community. We are tabulating what we have collected so far and will post it at the end of our Dance To Donate Food Drive after our last party on December 22nd, 2013.

All of us, at the Pattie Wells’ Dancetime Center, want to contribute and encourage our friends in the San Diego dance community to donate 3+ non-perishable food items to DT’s food drive. We will be taking donations at all of our upcoming December dance parties through the Jitterbug Club dance party on December 22nd. We will be donating all the food items we collect to the San Diego Food Bank.

Thank you to all the wonderful people that donated food, bottles of wine, made food to share, our fantastic deejay, Jamie Hanrahan and my helpers setting up and cleaning up, Maxine MacDonald, Bill Bacellar and Markk Long. We look forward to more dance parties where the San Diego dance community can contribute to those not as fortunate as us and share we can share in our joy of dancing this holiday while giving to those less fortunate!
